Goh Yew Lin
Chief Executive Officer
Yew Lin joined the Group in 1984, when it was primarily a stockbroking business. He was Managing Director from March 2008, and was redesignated as Chief Executive Officer in May 2024.
 
Apart from his work for the Group, Yew Lin has a long history of public service and corporate appointments. He served as a non-executive director of Temasek Holdings from 2005 to 2021 and is currently Chairman of two wholly-owned Temasek subsidiaries Seviora Group and Xora Innovation.
 
Yew Lin has been Chairman of the Singapore Symphony Group since September 2010 and of the Duke-NUS Medical School since October 2019. He was previously the Deputy Chairman of the National Arts Council, a Trustee of the National University of Singapore and Chairman of its Investment Committee, and the founding Chairman of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.
 
Yew Lin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
Thomas Teo
Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer
Thomas joined the Company as its Chief Financial Officer in April 2006 and was appointed the Executive Director in August 2018. His executive responsibilities include financial and investment management as well as board representation on various subsidiaries and associates of the Group.
 
Prior to joining the Group, Thomas was with a regional private equity group for ten years, responsible for direct investments in the Asean region. He also spent eight years with Ernst and Young, Singapore and has had extensive experience in audit and corporate finance.
 
Thomas is the Chairman of Assisi Hospice, a Catholic Charity providing palliative in-patient, day and home care services in Singapore.
 
Thomas holds a Master of Business in Information Technology from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Charlotte Yew
Executive Director
Charlotte joined the Group as Director for Investment in May 2016 and was appointed the Executive Director of the Company in May 2024. She also represents the Group as a non-executive director of Allium Healthcare (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
 
Prior to joining the Group, Charlotte was the Deputy Chief Investment Officer for J. P. Morgan Asset Management, Asia Pacific (previously Jardine Fleming) in Hong Kong and Singapore. She started her career as an Investment Manager with Yasuda Mutual Life Insurance Company in Tokyo.
 
Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Science from Colgate University, New York. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds an Advanced Japanese Language certificate.
John Mueller
Senior Consultant, G. K. Goh Strategic Holdings Pte Ltd
John joined the Group as Senior Consultant for Investment in July 2012 and is responsible for providing coverages and insights on Japan public and private markets. He is primarily based in Tokyo, Japan.
 
Prior to joining the Group, John was with Tantallon Capital, a Singapore-based hedge fund, looking at Japan. He was also responsible in the formation of the Special Situations Group during his time at UBS Securities in Japan in the early 2000s, and has spent time at other investment banks including JPMorgan Securities and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette.
 
John graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Economics and Asian Studies from Colgate University, New York. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and was a Board Member of the CFA Society of Japan in the early 2000s.
Peh Yi Nong
Vice President, G. K. Goh Strategic Holdings Pte Ltd
Yi Nong joined the Group in November 2009 and is responsible for investment management as well as board representation on behalf of the Group.
 
Yi Nong started his career at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown (formerly known as Alex. Brown & Sons) focusing on corporate finance for the technology sector in the United States, before joining the Debt Capital Markets group at DBS Bank Limited.
 
Yi Nong graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from University of California, Berkeley and holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Tan Choon Hiong
Vice President, G. K. Goh Strategic Holdings Pte Ltd
Choon Hiong joined the Group as Vice President for Business Development in August 2018. He also serves as alternate member and observer on the boards of regional venture portfolio companies on behalf of the Group.
 
Choon Hiong has over twenty-five years of experience in investment management and corporate development. He has led and managed investments and M&A projects across multiple industries (Consumer, Infocomm and Media, Real estate) and geographies (Japan, China, Southeast Asia). Prior to joining the Group, he has served in various senior roles across the public and private sectors, including Economic Development Board, Temasek Holdings, Suntory Beverage & Food Asia and Raffles Medical Group.
 
Choon Hiong was awarded the Public Service Commission-Monbusho overseas scholarship and holds a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Tokyo, Japan. He is also an avid lover of the arts and entertainment.
Tan Vern Han
Vice President, G. K. Goh Strategic Holdings Pte Ltd
Vern Han joined the Group as Vice President for Investments in October 2010.

Prior to joining the Group, Vern Han worked as an investment banker for over a decade, advising on corporate finance and M&A transactions in the Asia Pacific region.

Vern Han holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, Australia where he was a Warrane College Scholar. In addition, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
